Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Welcome to Lima! Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Lima - Cusco City Tour regular service
In the morning we take a flight to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel in Cusco where you can relax and acclimatize. In the afternoon we start our tour to the imperial city. During this half day we visit the "Plaza de Armas", the Cathedral, Coricancha, the view of the "Stone of the Twelve Angles" and some archaeological sites nearby Cusco, such as Sacsayhuaman. After lunch, we have the rest of the day free to stroll through the narrow streets and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this exceptional city.

Day 3: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes regular service
Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we will have the opportunity to see the typical Inca-era terraces and villages such as Pisac and its colorful Indian market (Calca, Yucay, Urubamba). Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a huge Inca complex of administrative, agricultural and religious functions. Here you can see great rock walls, temples and palaces. Drive to the town of Aguas Calientes, located at the foot of Machu Picchu. Arrival. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco regular service
From Aguas Calientes, we will go up to the "Lost City of the Incas, one of the Seven New Wonders of the World in a 25 minute bus ride. We will tour the ruins for approximately three hours. Our guide will explain the amazing degree of technology achieved by the builders of this incredible work and their exact precision in the solid stone constructions, the water supply canals that reveal deep knowledge of hydraulics, the stairways carved into the living stone of the mountain and the Intihuatana (or "the highest point of the Sun"), which served as a solar calendar. In the afternoon, we return to Cusco by train. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco mountain of 7 colors
Early in the morning we leave Cusco. During this tour we will be able to appreciate the landscape. Then we arrive at the Checacupe crossroads where we will take our way to the mountain of 7 colors. Our transportation will take us to the parking lot located at an altitude of 4700 meters above sea level. Then we will take a horse to start our ascent to the Vinicunca mountain at more than 5000 masl. This day is special because we will be able to appreciate this marvel of nature. Then we will return to Cusco. Meals included: breakfast, lunch.

Day 6: Cusco - Puno (from the Andes to Lake Titicaca) Tourist Bus
In the morning, after breakfast, we will take a tourist bus. During this tour we will appreciate different places like Andahuaylillas and know its famous church (Sistine Chapel). Then we will pass by Raqchi which are ancient constructions made of mud. We will also visit the archaeological complex of Pucara and finally we will arrive to Puno.

Day 7: Puno - Lake Titicaca - Uros - Amantani Island regular service
We will depart on an unforgettable boat excursion on Lake Titicaca to visit the floating islands of the Uros, where the ancient pre-Inca inhabitants of the lake, known as the "Aquatic Tribe", lived. They also use this material to build their houses and boats, then we move to the island of Amantani where we will be welcomed by a family and in the afternoon we will hike to one of the pre-Inca temples of the island, night and overnight at the house of one of the villagers.

Day 8: Amantani Island - Taquile - Puno
After breakfast we continue sailing to Taquile Island, inhabited by those who have developed from generation to generation, an efficient and original social system as well as a magnificent weaving technique. Upon arrival we will have time for lunch. In the afternoon, return to Puno and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at leisure.

Day 9: Puno - Copacabana - La Paz
After breakfast, we will go to the bus terminal to take the tourist bus that will take us to the city of La Paz - Bolivia. We will continue to the Bolivian border, say goodbye to Peru, and continue to La Paz. On the way we will visit Copacabana (155 km from the city of La Paz). Dinner and overnight in La Paz in preparation for the next morning's activities.

Day 10: La Paz - Valley of the Moon (Optional Downhill)
Tour to the Valley of the Moon, an impressive place with reddish rock formations. We will also go shopping at the witches market. Optional bike tour to La Paz, a full day trip through the notorious and spectacular (in fact, it is much less dangerous by bike).

Day 11: La Paz - Uyuni
We will travel from La Paz to Uyuni, appreciating the spectacular scenery along the way. The trip takes approximately 11 hours. We arrive in Uyuni and rest until the next day. If it is not the date of the train (only every Tuesday and Friday), we take the local bus.

Day 12: Uyuni Salt Flat
We will visit the Salar de Uyuni and spend most of the day there. This salt flat is the largest in the world. In Colchani, on the north side of the lake, we will observe the extraction of salt and then see a hotel that is made entirely of salt. Then we will visit Inkahuasi (better known as Isla Pescadores), an island with many cacti in the middle of the dazzling salt. We will have lunch here in the open air and then head to our lodging in Chuivica, on the other side of the salt flat. Basic lodging.

Day 13: San Juan
We continue our journey appreciating the amazing panoramas of the altiplano such as the twisted eroded shapes of the Bosque de Piedra, the active Ollagüe volcano and a variety of lagoons where we will observe flamingos and other wildlife. We will spend the night near Laguna Colorada, at 4,300 meters. Basic lodging.

Day 14: Laguna Colorada - San Pedro de Atacama - Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley)
Today we head to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, visiting the "Sol de la Mañana" geysers at 5000 meters, hot springs and more lagoons, before reaching the Chilean border. At approximately one o'clock in the afternoon we will arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis in the middle of the driest desert in the world where we will be able to relax. Basic accommodation with private bathroom.

Day 15: San Pedro de Atacama - Paso Jama route 52 Salta Night Bus
We will have the morning to relax. In the afternoon the Moon Valley awaits us with spectacular colors and formations. Overnight in San Pedro. International bus San Pedro Salta. Transfers in a modern bus. Approximately 10 hours trip.

Day 16: Today we visit the city of Salta la Linda.

Visiting the most important points of Salta La Linda, Casco Historico, Plaza 9 de Julio, Cathedral Basilica and Cabildo, San Francisco Church and San Bernardo Convent, San Bernardo Hill, Guemes Monument, old Artisan Market, Baqueros River, Lesser, Quebrada de Catellanos and Villa de San Lorenzo.

Day 17: Cafayate - Quebrada de las Flechas - Cachi Salta

Today we will get to know a breathtaking landscape along route 40! We leave Calafate, passing through the Quebrada de las Flechas until we reach Cachi. Meals included: Breakfast. Night in Cachi: Hotel La Cabaña Las Lomitas (by sprinter).

Day 18: Salta - Cafayate, Calchaquies Valley

The excursion departs from the city of Salta heading south on RN68 and travels through Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Alemania, Quebrada del Rio Las Conchas, making the corresponding stops at different geological formations such as, La Garganta del Diablo, El Obelisco and El Anfiteatro among others and a breathtaking scenery! In Cafayate we will have time for lunch and visit two wineries and the Calchaquíes Valley. Meals included: Breakfast Night Cafayate: Hotel Munay Cafayate (by sprinter)

Day 19: Day Salta flight to Buenos Aires TANGO SHOW
Reception at Ezeiza International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening DINNER / TANGO SHOW, departure 20.00Hs. Return at midnight. "An experience not to be missed in Buenos Aires". We have reservations for all tango shows, with the best location to the show.

Day 20: Buenos Aires City Tour Day
City Tour in the morning, visiting Plaza de Mayo, Government House, Metropolitan Cathedral, San Telmo, La Boca, Palermo and Recoleta. Personalized assistance of professional guides. Rest of the day at leisure. We recommend combining this tour with the Tigre and Tren de la Costa tours.

Day 21: Buenos Aires Iguazu Day
Transfer from the hotel to the Buenos Aires airport to take a domestic flight to Iguazu. Arrival at Iguazu airport. Transfer to the chosen hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 22: Day Iguazu Falls Argentinean side
Visit to the Iguazu Falls, Argentine side and optional "Great Adventure". These magnificent falls, surrounded by a lush subtropical forest, have been declared a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will walk along the footbridges and viewpoints of the upper and lower walkways and Devil's Throat, admiring from up close the imposing waterfalls that plunge over the river at a height of 70 meters, as well as the amazing variety of ferns, orchids, begonias, birds and butterflies.

Day 23: Iguazu Falls Day, Brazil side.

Breakfast. Visit to the Iguazu Falls, Brazilian side. This is an excursion to the Falls from the Brazilian side visiting its traditional footbridge with the wonderful panoramic views. As this tour is in Brazilian Territory, some visitors may require a Visa.

Day 24: Day Iguazu Buenos Aires international flight.

Transfer from the hotel to the Iguazu Airport for domestic flight to Buenos Aires. Reception at Buenos Aires airport and international flight.
