Day 1: Arrival in Santa Cruz
We will welcome you at the airport in Santa cruz, and drive to your hotel where you will receive a small introduction of the city. The warm weather invites you to visit a water park. You can also visit the Botanical Gardens and numerous American-style shopping malls.

Day 2: Santa Cruz Samaipata
Early in the morning we will drive from our hotel in Santa Cruz to Samaipata by a private transport. After about 2 hours we reach the picturesque town, which guarantees a relaxing atmosphere with a pleasant climate. After lunch we will visit the local museum and the ruins of El Fuerte, an important monument of pre-Hispanic rock art. We spend the night in Samaipata.

Day 3: Samaipata Amboro National Park
After breakfast we drive to the Amboro National Park, the main attraction of the region. While we walk through the forests of the giant ferns, we experience the flora and fauna: Countless animal and plant species can be admired and observed in their natural habitat. For lunch we will pick up a delicious lunch box before returning to Santa Cruz, where we will arrive at about 16:30.

Day 4: Santa Cruz - Sucre
We will be picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport to fly to Sucre. In Sucre, the capital of Bolivia, we will attend a city tour. We start at the Plaza de la Recoleta, which offers a great view over the rooftops of the picturesque town. Then we visit the museum "ASUR", which contains one of the most valuable textile collections in South America. As we walk through the streets of Sucre, we will learn more about Bolivia's independence. Once we arrive at the main square, we visit the Casa de la Libertad, the most important monument in Sucre, where the first call of independence was made in Latin America. We continue to the Palace of Justice, another important republican building. Finally we walk along the churches of San Lázaro and Santo Domingo to the Parque Bolívar, a quiet place to rest.

Day 5: Sucre - Trekking Cráter Maragua
From Sucre we leave to Maragua. The two-hour hike to Camino del Inca, along the Ravelo River, starts here. In the afternoon we drive up the crater of Maragua and visit some local houses, where we take a look at the famous Jalq'a weavings, which are among the best in Bolivia. We will spend the night in the tourist cottages of Maragua.

Day 6: Trekking Cráter Maragua - Sucre
Today, after breakfast, we visit the dinosaur footprints in Niñu Mayu. Then we continue to Potolo or Kollpa Kucho, where the car is waiting to take us back to Sucre. Another option is to leave Maragua for the tracks of the dinosaurs and return to Quila Quila.

Day 7: Sucre: Visiting Mercado de Tarabuco (Sundays only)
Tarabuco is a city of the Yampara culture which is 64 kilometers away from the center of Sucre. In Tarabuco, the inhabitants preserve the traditions and customs of the past. Every Sunday there is a colorful market. The Yampara families come every Sunday from their rural communities to Tarabuco Square to bring their products to market. There they trade food, agricultural products, clothing, animals, etc.. Many come by bus or truck and some even by foot. The market starts early in the morning. At noon many are returning to their communities.

Day 8: Sucre - Potosí - Yotala - Millares - Betanzos
In the afternoon we head to Potosí. Here we visit the mining market "Calvario". Afterwards we will visit the silver mines, where we will observe the work of miners who manually mine the ore as in the previous centuries.

Day 9: Potosí - Yotala - Millares - Betanzos Tupiza
The journey leads us through the highlands through an unforgettable landscape. In the afternoon we will go on a 3 hour horse ride to the Devil's pit.

Day 10: Tupiza - San Pablo de Lipez - Quetena Chico
After breakfast we will climb from Tupiza Palala up the hill Ashlar, from where we can see the variety of shapes, peaks and craters that resemble a moonscape of intense colors. We continue to the mining areas Nazarenito, Chilcobija, Cerrillos and Polulos. We drive along the river San Pablo through the typical vegetation in the highlands to the village of San Antonio de Lipez to admire the ruins of San Antonio. Finally we reach Quetena chico.

Day 11: Quetena Chico - Laguna Verde - Laguna Colorada - Villmar
In the morning we will say goodbye to Quetena Chico and drive to Lagoon Hedionda and Lagoon Kollpa. Then we cross the small Salar de Challvri, until we reach the thermal baths, where you can go foor a swim. Afterwards we cross the Dalí Desert, where we can admire rock formations, until we finally reach Laguna Blanca, and the fantastic Laguna Verde, which is located at the foot of the volcano Licancabur (5960m altitude). Step by step we reach the 5,000 vertical meters and on the TWE road we can see the geysers of the morning sun, volcanic crater with sulfuric-damp and heavy water. In the afternoon we reach the beautiful colorful Laguna Colorada, where we will take a short walk to see the flamingos. Finally, we return to the property in Villamar, near the Laguna Colorada.

Day 12: Villmar - Siloli Desert - 5 lagoons
In the morning we drive towards north and cross the Siloi desert, where we can see unusual rock formations, such as the stone tree. Then we drive along the path of the jewels, consisting of the lagoons Ramaditas, Honda, Chiarkota, Hedionda and Cañapa, the pilgrimage of 3 flamingo species.

Day 13: San Juan - Inkahuasi Island - Colchani - Uyuni
From San Juan we reach after about 1 1/2 hours Salar de Uyuni (3650m above sea level), where we visit the island of Incahuasi, which is of volcanic origin and is covered with more than 5,000 giant cacti.
From the top of the volcanic island you have a 360 degree view over the salt desert and can visit the Museum of Rituals. Then we will visit the first salt hotel ever and finally arrive at the community Colchani. This is the center for salt extraction and utilization. We visit the museum of the municipality, where we learn more about the extraction process of salt. Then we head towards the city of Uyuni, where we finish our journey by visiting the train cemetery.

Day 14: Uyuni - La Paz city tour + cable car, por la tarde Moon Valley
After breakfast we fly to La Paz. We are starting with a city tour where we will get to know the cultural, historical, architectural and natural wealth of the city. We will visit the Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Church of San Francisco and the replica of the semi-subterranean temple Tiawanaku. We also have a beautiful view over the city from the Quilli Quilli viewpoint at the Costumbrista Museum. We then visit the Witches Market, where locals buy ritualistic products such as Ch'alla and gifts to the Pachamama (Mother Earth). After the sunset in the Valley of the Moon, we cross the suburbs of the southern part of the city.

Day 15: Free day or optional "Road of death"
Today we can take a bike tour along the death road. From the summit, it is about 3500 meters downhill to the town of Yolosa (1180 m.s.n.), where our adventure on the bike ends. In the beginning, the temperature is very cold due to the altitude, but warms up after an hour, as we approach the semi-tropical area. The vegetation is getting lush due to the heat.

Day 16: Tiahuanaco Tour - Bolivia Cercanías
We visit the archaeological ruins of the pre-Inca Tiahuanacao culture, where we can see the monoliths, the famous Puerta del Sol and the authentic Benett monoliths. Arrived in Tiahuanaco, we visit the museum and take a walk. We also visit the Akapana Pyramid, the Kalasasaya Temple and more.
